The SHED craft bar & kitchen | Our Story
A tribute to every gathering place
In Franklin, people have always had their spots — backyard sheds and garages where the food was good and nobody was in a hurry to leave. The SHED is our version of that, built for the town we've called home our whole lives.
Where the name came from
On a family cruise, the kids claimed a room, dubbed it The Shed, and spent the whole trip there eating and plotting. When the founders told Franklin friends the name, every single one said: they already had one of those.
The kitchen we're proud of
Everything is made from scratch with locally sourced ingredients — wagyu lamb lollipops, Maryland-style crab cakes, house-made focaccia, and egg rolls that rotate with the season. It's pub food, but we take it seriously.
A bar worth lingering at
The bar is bigger than people expect — craft beers from New England breweries, cocktails built on butter-washed bourbon and barrel-aged spirits, and zero-proof options for everyone at the table.
Rooted in Franklin
The founders have lived and raised families here for decades — which is why the team will rearrange the dining room with thirty minutes' notice to seat your party of nine before kickoff. This place didn't land in Franklin; it grew out of it.
